Polly Read & Danriil Chesnov : MERZ Mail Art & Response

Danriil Chesnov from Kelloholm Primary responds to Polly Read’s poem and drawing of the Kent Downs.

Artists were invited to submit mail art to MERZ for an exhibition in April through May to which young artists were invited to respond with cards that reflected the Scots language or local idiom with their own collages or paintings on postcards. The cards will be posted back to the artists in June together with the Sanquhar Post Office stamp (the longest continually running post office in the world).
